Shanghai 2008 - P.3
& fuck the "bake" and one stupid girl.
I was back to the hotel at about 12:00 last night. A tough day, huh? But it was not the long day making me tired. It was a group of fucking stupid "bake" and one more stupid girl from Saigon. What a shame! I mean it.
The first part of the day I wrote a little bit yesterday. Things got well as been planing. I hooped around the Nanjing Road (the famous shopping street in Shanghai), taking my time for window shopping, seeing people. What a city! It was Monday noon and the road was still packed by people. They don't need to go to work, do they? Then I went to the metro station and catch my line to the stadium. Everything else went as it did the last day.
On the way from the bus station to the entrance, I talked a little bit with this Chinese girl. She was very nice. She speak not much English and my Chinese is as bad as "you-know-it". She told me this was her first time joining the Master Cup. Oh! She must love tennis a lot. Bet my 2 cents, she's a fan of Roger. Then we said goodbye and went to our places.
When I got to place, my seat was occupied. I felt not right but I didn't want to make the claim for my seat when the double match was happening. I waited outside, going around and visiting the Tent for shopping and food. Then I went back and claimed my seat. Then I recognized they were Vietnamese, some "bake". When I claimed my seat, the guy occupied even told me to take another seat. I simply said no and then got to know that they were a big group. I asked him "Your group is big, why don't you take the whole section?" he answered "Oh, we have. We just want to occupy this section for better view". That he didn't even see my hook or he just had a thick face? Then I told them "you all should return to your seat since people will come to their places here". You know what they told me? "Why should we do that? We came early and took this place because we want it." OMG!? Fucking "bake".
Then people arrived and claimed their seats. I told them "See? You all should not do that, since it will make the bad impression about Vietnamese with others" Then the fucking stupid girl "from Saigon" raised her voice "What does it do anything with Vietnamese? We meet here abroad and you should not..." Stupid!!!! Stupid!!!! You're just stupid, girl. Have you ever seen people's face whenever they hear the word "Vietnam" when you're abroad? Have you ever known about the VISA problem that the "bake" made us? Or you are just as that stupid as the "bake" guy you're with? I claimed that "I will admit that I know some Vietnamese guys just in case they're polite people, or else I don't". The guy who occupied my seat even told dirty words when he went to another place. You "bake" guys know what? You're just mean, stupid, and cost not a single penny but you really made me angry for the shame. Fuck!
Ok, forget them!
The match between Roger Federer and Gilles Simon was great. At first I didn't think that Simon had a single chance winning Federer. You know why. But then the stone rolled. And... bump!!! He made it. Can you believe that he made it and I was there. He played better than my first impression about him. Why Simon and not Gasquet? I remember "my vulnerable kid" a lot.
The second match of 2 Andy was another problem. I love Roddick but it's not that kind of blind love and I know that he cannot win Murray. I supported him a lot, as much as the Russian guys who sit next to me. They are nice, very nice indeed. But they cannot speak a lot English. So... not much exchanges. Oh! I don't like this disappointed Roddick any little. Wish you do something better the next match. (Can you, honey? They are Roger and the rising Gilles.)
The way back to the city center I met this English man and Shanghai guy. They were very funny. The English man is a true-heart fan of tennis. He told us the story about booking ticket for Wimbledon. It's a lot like a lottery game. You have to apply this summer for the next year tournament. And from the moment you send out the application all you can do is praying for luck. He join 10 tournaments last 15 years. Such a lucky man! He travels a lot around the world and he just takes cruise, not flight. He said that he saved all his money in 2 years, and then took off. And the Shanghai guy. Yeah! He's great. He's 23 and he speaks English as good as a native English speaking guy. He's funny and helpful. He even stood up, gave up his seat for the English man. Rare guy in this turmoil time, rite?
Then the bus arrived at the bus stop in the city center. I didn't know it was that far walking from the bus stop returning my hotel. Not that much far but it was late and... you know, a little bit scare. I may take a cab today since the last match of the day is NOLE's. It will take time, I know that.
BTW, I waked up even later this morning. And I'm in the bar. I stop now for my lunch, then I will hoop out for the day.
See ya!!!
