Oh so weird... or not much?

I've been using this picture of Adam's on-stage-face for my IM program for days. Many gangs have passed by just to ask who the handsome guy is. Suddenly, yesterday when I was chatting with him, he told me "Hey, change the avatar, he didn't win". Who cares? I prefer Adam in any case. He told me that "The kid with pretty wife is much manlier. This Adam is too girly". Again, who cares? Then I chat with this guy who once was a fling. He - in the middle of nowhere - told me "Hey, change the avatar, this guy is too feminine. His name is Adam but he is somewhat an Eve". I found that it was funny (not in a good sense). I told him "So, what's with that? I think in that case you guys must be happy since he's not your guys competitor, rite?" God! What's wrong with guys? It's just the jealousy or they are really that homophobic? I know conservative people somehow always prefer Kris' style (it's easy to understand and we have nothing to judge people's tastes) but... I really thing the guys' reaction is too much more than that.
